I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the gallery this week at Retro Rubber Challenge as Jane has given us an Anything Goes challenge and we always get lots of amazing entries on AG weeks.
Just remember though that this is RETRO RUBBER so it's anything goes as long as you use at least one stamp older than a year old and tell us how old it is. Our only other rule is not to enter ten or more challenges.
This challenge is so retro that I had to go into the stamp box that lives in the cupboard to find Hello, Lovely. It was a set I got very early on in my stamping hobby and to be honest, it didn't get a lot of ink. It first came out in the 2013-14 Annual Catalogue. It contains a lot of little small tile pattern stamps, one of which I've used here.
What I wanted to do with those tile stamps was to try out a new technique that I saw using the Stamparatus. It involved using the Stamparatus to accurately stamp in a circle. If you're interested, there are several video tutorials around but here's one by Dawn O. I'm pleased with how that worked out although I used a different sized template to the one in the video.
The other inspiration for this card came from the colour challenge at Fab Friday. This challenge closes on 7 June.
At Retro Rubber Challenge, we'd love to see what you create with your old stamps.
You can join in with us until June 15.
