Global Design Project 22

I really liked the sketch at the Global Design Project this week, so as soon as I got home from school last night, I hit my craft room.

It turned out to be more challenging than I'd thought as I kept thinking of different possibilities. This is where it ended up...

Ingredients
Card: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, scrap of Lost Lagoon
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes, Papillon Potpourri, A Dozen Thoughts
Inks: Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Tuxedo Black
Other: Lost Lagoon stitched ribbon, Honeycomb embossing folder, sponges, pearls, dimensionals, Bitty Butterfly punch, 2" circle punch to create the mask for sponged circle.

All Stampin' Up except the embossing folder.

  2. Oh wow. What a gorgeous color combination. I love the blending in the background and your choice to stamp the leaves in purple as to not distract too much from the gorgeous butterfly you've created. Thanks for playing with us at Global Design Project.

  3. It may have been challenging Jan (that's the name of the game, right, lol?) but you have put together a fabulous card. I love the hexagon background and the colours you chose work beautifully together. Your sponging is wonderful! Thanks for playing at Global Design project with us this week ♥

  5. This is stunning Jan, your blending is always so flawless and you combine the most beautiful colours. Hope you haven't melted up there after the last few weeks. I can't remember when it rained last and I'm so terrible at remembering to water my garden. Supposed to rain and be slightly cooler Thursday and Friday so fingers crossed!!
