Dinosaur Playtime SSC109

Last week, a colleague asked me to make a card for her son's 9th birthday. I was keen to do it, because sitting on my desk was the No Bones About It set that I bought as part of my start-up demonstrator's kit but have not used all that much. I suppose I picked it as part of a nostalgia trip, remembering my son's dinosaur obsession that lasted from when he was three until he was about ten, as well as my own fascination for dinosaurs when I was in primary school. Anyway, I had such fun playing today that I think I'll be doing more of it!

My other inspiration today was the colour challenge at Sunday Stamps. Such a dreamy colour combination, it almost seemed a waste to use it on a T-Rex but it was a fabulous combination to work with.

It's a simple wee card, but I think one a little boy would be happy with.

Ingredients
Card: Whisper White, Tangelo Twist
Stamps: No Bones About It, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Island Indigo, Tangelo Twist, Crushed Curry, Tuxedo Black
Other: Provocraft Olivia dies

  2. I love this dinosaur set, but have no little ones at home, so put it on the back burner for now. I love Mr. Dinosaur with his birthday hat! So cute, and excellent use of the colors for this weeks challenge! Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps!
