Lights Aglow Tags for Stampin' Fancy Friday

 Hello everyone!

Christmas is fast approaching and the team at Stampin' Fancy Friday are sharing projects on the theme of 'Tags' this month.

The team at Stampin' Fancy Friday are all current or past members of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team and each month we have a theme. The projects are shared throughout the month on Instagram. If you haven't already followed us, you'll find us @stampinfancyfriday.

This is just a quick post to share my tag project made using the Christmas Lights bundle, Brightest Glow set, Tailor Made Tags dies and some resist embossing.

If you'd like to see how I made them, then here's a short tutorial.

If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. All Squared Away for Stampin' Fancy Friday

I'm lucky enough to belong to the Stampin' Fancy Friday Inspiration team. We're a group of current and past Stampin' Up! Artisan Design team members who put together an inspiration hop once a month on a theme. This is not a blog hop. Instead, a post appears daily on the stampinfancyfriday Instagram account throughout the month.  If you don't want to miss any of the inspiration, go follow it right now!

The theme this month is 2021-23 In Colours. I have to admit that technically we were supposed to include one of the new In Colours into another colour combination. Due to the fact that I did not read the instruction post properly AND that I couldn't get enough of the five new In Colours together, my project includes the whole five: Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

I used the new All Squared Away bundle to create a set of note cards and envelopes plus a gift box for them. The tiny label on the gift box uses the Quiet Meadow bundle.

I'm particularly fond of the way the two greens work together so well.

Forever Lovely for Retro Rubber 128

This week at Retro Rubber, we have a colour challenge for you.

The challenge is to use red, white and pink in your card. Since this is retro rubber, we ask you to use a stamp that is at least a year old and tell us the approximate age of it.

The lovely graphic that Jane has chosen brings to mind a love theme, which you are free to use (or not). Clearly, I did! I made a set of six 3x3 note cards, perfect for adding to a lunchbox (or briefcase) or for use as gift tags. I made a lidded box to put them in.

I had the great privilege of presenting the Forever Lovely set at OnStage Auckland in November 2018, so I know that it is from the January 2019 Occasions catalogue and just fits into the 'at least a year old' category. However, the paper I used is straight from this year's January-June Mini Catalogue, From My Heart.

To add a little more sparkle, I've used Shimmery Black embossing powder because I like the subtle shine it gives. On the box top, I've added in a couple of clear epoxy heart embellishments that I've coloured with a Real Red dark Stampin' Blend.

The team would love to see what you do with this red, pink and white colour challenge. You can see what the rest of the team have done, and link up your entry, by visiting Retro Rubber Challenge.

Sneak Peek at the 2019 In Colours

Big excitement at my house today! My box of Premier Product Purchases arrived in time for Easter!
There were many things in the box but the first thing I got out and played with were the new In-Colour inks and card.

I had to try them out ASAP. So here's some quick note cards / gift tags I made to try out each colour. As an added bonus, I also got to have a go with the new set, Good Morning Magnolia. The sentiment and tiny magnolia flower are from it. I'm sure I'll be showing you more of them in the near future.

So here they are: Purple Posy, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock, Rococco Rose, Terracotta Tile. Can you tell which one is which? Do you have a favourite?

Here's a close-up of my favourite new colour: Rococco Rose.

Add these colours to your wish list today! If you live in New Zealand and would like me to be your demonstrator, message me or leave a comment. The new catalogue will be available in early June so let you know if you'd like one.
