This week at As You See It, it's back to the start of our challenge rota and that's the Sketch Challenge. This is my sketch, so I hope you enjoy playing with it. 😀
Since it's my latest purchase, I turned to the Lily of the Valley bundle.
I seldom use much patterned paper in my cards but the Valley in Bloom DSP is so pretty that I made an exception for this one and used it as my card front. I used a large Deckled Circle die (part of my craft library) to cut a circle in Basic White, which I embossed with the Floral Spray folder.
To create the floral spray, I firstly stamped the lily-of-the-valley image in Granny Apple Green and die cut it out. Then I die cut two lily-of-the-valley stems in Basic White. I coloured the stems with a Granny Apple Green blend then sponged on some Blackberry Bliss ink to the flowers with a blending brush. The leaves are die cut from Granny Apple Green. Once I had all four items ready, I arranged them on the embossed circle, after first attaching a banner of contrast DSP.

I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black, then cut it down into a banner to match the DSP strip and adhered it over the top of the floral cluster with dimensionals.
For embellishment I used three of the white Shimmering Dots but coloured them with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend.
You can see what the rest of the Design Team have done, and link up your entry, on the As You See It page. The team and I are all keen to see how you see it!
