I'm usually a little more technique-driven in my card making but sometimes all a really pretty stamp needs is a setting. I used a panel from the Delightfully Detailed specialty paper for the frame and underlaid it with a piece of Rich Razzleberry. Cutting out a central oval allowed the colour to show through the dots while letting the stamp have centre stage. I used a large oval framelit that I had in my stash for this as the current layering ovals are too small for this aperture.
This stamp is just so pretty, with its etching-like look! It colours up well too. So, a sweet and simple vintage style card QED!

Hello Jan: This card is gorgeous, love this elegant and vintage image and the color you chose to stamp it, the laser cut panel is dreamy and frames this lovely image beautifully, I wish there was a die that cut this amazing design.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing it with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, hope you come and play again next time.

Wow Jan this is absolutely gorgeous!! Love the floral image and looks stunning in that colour. And its nice to see a floral image just stamped and not coloured (which I seem to do ALL THE TIME). And that oval die-cut with the lacy inside edge is so pretty. Its an amazing card, I'm so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge!!
