To begin with, I wasn't going to play but there was a suggested twist mentioned in the blog, which was to use a non-traditional set to make a Christmas card. This just stuck with me until I was driven to try something.
Rooted in Nature is absolutely my favourite set in the Annual Catalogue and the skeleton leaves are my favourite within it. So I had in mind that they might circle together to make an acceptable poinsettia - which turned out to be true. The motif from Detailed with Love is also acceptably snowflake-ish!
There's a copper foil mat under the main panel, picked up with the copper ribbon trim with a touch of gold from the faceted gems.
It still seems early to be thinking of Christmas cards - but this was a good entree to the season!
