It's The Paper Players' final challenge for 2018 this week and Joanne has a seasonal colour inspiration for us. Of course, if you've done all your Christmas cards you're welcome to use the colours for whatever they inspire you to do. Remember to use only the challenge colours although neutrals such as black, white and Kraft are allowed.
These colours threw me a little as left to my own devices, I always opt for earthier tones such as Cherry Cobbler, Merry Merlot and Garden Green. I did have a left over piece of DSP from the All is Bright pack with these sweet little Christmas lights in Real Red and Shaded Spruce. This became the starting point for this card and gold became my third colour.
With the lights in the background, my sentiment became 'Merry and bright' although the Merry Christmas to All bundle lets you choose just about anything! This versatile Christmas greeting set is on the retiring list, so if you want it - order it now.
Inspiration for this card also came from this week's challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.
The team have outdone themselves on this colour challenge, so why not pop over to The Paper Players, see what they've done, then join in with us?
Here's a quick reminder of our few rules.
- Create a new paper project.
- Provide a link back to The Paper Players in your post.
- Provide a direct link to your blog post for your challenge entry.
- Please link your card to no more than FOUR challenges (including ours).
- Enjoy!
Please take note of these few rules, as entries that do not comply will be deleted from the gallery.
