I hope every one enjoyed Ann's pretty colour challenge. I certainly enjoyed looking at the creations! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players.
This week, LeAnne has a double challenge for us: something with wheels AND in a clean and simple style. I suspect that for many of you, the hardest part will be keeping things clean and simple (CAS).
By CAS, we mean: minimal use of layers, minimal use of embellishments, lots of open white space.
If I'd realised when I started how the design would evolve, I'd have embossed the cycle straight onto the card front: another option to get a similar result.😀
What sort of wheels will you play with this week? You can see what the rest of the team have done and link up your entry on The Paper Players page.
Here's a quick recap of our challenge rules:
- Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
- Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
- Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
- Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL, including ours
- Have fun, and thank you for playing with us!
Don't forget to check out the great inspiration from the rest of the design team.

Jan, this is just perfect for a teenager or anyone really! I love the map background. It adds movement for sure. The black bike just pops! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteJan, this is CAS perfection! LOVE that background and the bike works perfectly! You're smart to save this set, it's a keeper for sure!
ReplyDeleteClean and perfect, Jan! The blue map grid was the perfect background for the black bike. It really "pops". What a great card! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteJan... great combination of stamps! Clever you. I can never find the one I want in trying this type of layering. Wonderful CAS card.
ReplyDeleteI love this Jan - that map background looks fab with the bike. I think cutting out the bike was the right move - I'm not sure it would have looked as sharp if you could see the map detail through the spokes, but that's just my opinion ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card for anyone that loves to ride. Placing the bike over the map was a stroke of genius, Jan, it is such a cool design! And perfectly CAS.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card, Jan. My hubby would love it. I agree with Stef, placing the bike over the map takes this image to a whole new level and adds wonderful texture and movement. Fabulous CAS card
