When the retiring list comes out, I like to go through my shelves and see what's staying and what isn't. I was pleased to see that not only is the Tasteful Touches set staying but so is the fabulous In Good Taste DSP. Along with that pleasure was a touch of guilt at not having used this must-have set as often as I should have!
This week's sketch at The Paper Players seemed a good opportunity to remedy that. 😀
The card base is Gray Granite, with a narrow mat of Early Espresso. I've used on of the In Good Taste DSP designs for the card base and one of the wood grain ones to cut the rectangles and the trellis strips to make the horizontal element of the sketch. You can see why I'm happy this set of paper is staying with us for another year!
I stamped two of the flower images in Merry Merlot and shaded them using a Blender Pen. I had a metallic gold pen on my desk, so used that to stipple the centres before fussy cutting them. I stamped the foliage image onto the card base before attaching the woodgrain rectangles, then stamped a couple more and fussy cut them. I used the last of my In Good Taste wooden elements for this cluster too. If you'd like some before they retire, check out the Last Chance Products tab in my online store. For the sentiment, I used the 'thank you' from Art Gallery and cut it with one of the dies from Tasteful Labels, the die set that originally bundled with the Tasteful Touches stamp set. Although these items will be available in the next catalogue, the bundle price will disappear at the end of April.

Product List
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling guilty for not using products as much as I should. I have this paper and have hardly cut into it at all! I like the way you mixed the tile pattern with the wood pattern. It's a great backdrop for your lovely flowers. The touches of gold are beautiful as well! Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
