Thank you for your kind comments. Adh...Hello Edith. Thank you for your kind comments. Adhering such delicate cuts can be a problem, I agree! What I did for these ones (the sunflower and leaves) was to use my silicon craft mat, a piece of sponge and multi-purpose adhesive. If you put a daub of glue in one corner of the mat and use the sponge to very lightly dab it onto the back of the die cut, you don't get that ooziness of glue that you get when you apply glue directly to the die cut. It goes give you less 'wiggle room' than when the glue is still very liquid though. I use tweezers to help put the dies back in place too. You do have to make sure that when you go to apply the glue to a second die cut piece that you don't put it over a spot on the mat that has already got dabbed off glue on it, or else you'll end up with a tacky front - so place carefully and if necessary, wash the at between pieces. As to vellum - always a problem! With the jar of flowers, I used glue dots along but made sure to place them where other things would go over the top. In this case, under the words and I think there might even be one under the clear gem. If I'd used a vellum overlay on the third card with the jar of flowers, I'd have put glue dots along the top where they'd be hidden under the flowers and one where the die cut of the fallen leaf would cover it. I hope this helps answer your questions. :-)Jan Clothierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11605233725615912273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925958000447172449.post-79334456130753555112020-07-12T04:12:15.254+12:002020-07-12T04:12:15.254+12:00Jan, your designs are absolutely beautiful!! These are two things I struggle with the intricate dies, which i love and the "see through" velium Edith Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04763127484463918694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925958000447172449.post-36237999791054913272020-07-11T08:53:52.013+12:002020-07-11T08:53:52.013+12:00Thank you! The white with the die cuts taken out of it is only slightly smaller than the Magenta mat - it is not a full 0.5cm smaller all around. I cut the white at 9.7cm x 14 cm. I hope that helps. :-)<br />Jan Clothierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11605233725615912273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925958000447172449.post-34243514480006594782020-07-11T04:43:49.971+12:002020-07-11T04:43:49.971+12:00Love your cards! could you tell me the size of you...Love your cards! could you tell me the size of your card stock for the celebrate flowers with the cutouts of sunflowers.
