The Paper Players 383 - Design Team Card

Welcome to a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week, Jaydee has a theme for us.

I see that the tulips in the graphic really grabbed the attention of the rest of the design team. For me, I know it's really spring when the camellias start to bloom so I got out the retired Avant Garden for this challenge. I know they're not really camellias but when they're stamped together like this, they do put me in mind of a laden camellia tree.

The Petal Burst embossing folder adds in a subtle touch of spring to the card as well.

We'd love to have you join us at The Paper Players this week. Here's a reminder of the rules of the challenge.

  9. So pretty, Jan! You've used my favorite colors, pink and green. Add to that a bit of black contrast, a touch of sparkle and some texture, it all adds up to a perfectly fabulous card!

  10. Beautiful stamping, Jan! Your flower placement looks effortless and so perfect I thought it was DSP! Great colors together especially with the pop of black and white. The petal burst folder is just the right amount of texture—a beautiful card! I love camellias too, lots of old growth ones in my area. For us they are always the first sign of winter setting in, well Florida winter anyway!

  11. Congrats, Princess! Loved this card the minute I saw it. The colors you used are beautiful! Sadly, our camellias try to bloom this time of year but it's also the rainy season so they get quite beat up before they even have a chance :( Hope you're having a great week ~ Hugs, Annie
