Freshly Made Sketches 162

There's not been a lot of time this week for any crafting between work all week and a trip to Wellington this weekend with my daughter. So, it's Sunday tea-time but I have managed to get a card done for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Earlier this year, I made a card using Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand for a Paper Players sketch and became quite besotted with the combo, so came back to it for today's challenge. I took a pretty literal interpretation of the sketch and came up with this...

... It's a little busier than I usually go for in a card, but I wanted to experiment in combining patterns.

Card: Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Regals DSP, Moonlight Paper stack
Stamps: SU Dictionary Background stamp, Hero Arts thank you, Hero Arts Dandelion
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Other: Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green markers to colour the dandelion stamp, Linen twine, dimensionals, corner rounder punch, Tag from Provocraft Happy Pants alphabet set.

  1. I love these colors together as well.....and the flower is so pretty stamped on the typed page! Thanks for joining us at FMS!

  2. Beautiful card! Love the image stamped on the newsprint! Looks fabulous! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
